This is the photo from Newsday's obituary for Long Island CORE chairman Lincoln Lynch. He was 91 years old when he passed.

After leaving CORE, Lynch became a vice chair for the New York Urban Coalition and a 'professor at the social welfare school ' at Stony Brook/ State University of New York.

He along with James Farmer, Arnie Goldwag (Brooklyn CORE) and Herb Callender (Bronx CORE) was part of the unsuccessful effort in the mid- 1970's to take back CORE from Roy Innis.

according to Newsday, he was also 'one of more than 1,000 people arrested near police headquarters in Manhattan for protesting the police killing of unarmed immigrant Amadou Diallo.'
