Randolph, like Jack Gilford and Madeline Lee of 7 Arts CORE, was blacklisted in the 1950's after appearing before the House of Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) for his political activities. He is believed to be the 'last blacklisted actor to regain employment in Hollywood films' when he starred in John Frankenheimer's 'Seconds' in 1966. The Tony award wining actor went on to appear in such films as 'Serpico' and various television shows.
