This is a 1969 panel discussion with East River CORE head Blyden Jackson (far left, afro, dashiki) on South Africa, straight from PBS' show "Black Journal". At the time he was working for an organization started by CORE founder George Houser, the American Committee of Africa. Also on the panel are: Prof. Charles Hamilton (center), co-author (with Stokely Carmichael) of "Black Power"; Peter Molotsi (far right), US representative to the Pan African Congress; Keorapetse "Willie" Kgositsile (right of Jackson), noted South African writer.
